I just returned from Port Huron, Michigan. A friend and I went down for a 2 night shopping trip and sightseeing tour. I have never spent much time in Port Huron just passing through on my way to Frankenmuth. I was surprised it is a very clean city FULL of one way streets. We got lost last night just before dark and it was raining but I didn't feel panicked like I would in some cities on either side of the border. We went down to the waterfront and found an outdoor market right on the St. Clair river with Sarnia Canada right across the river. When the lakefreighters went by they would give a talk about how big the boat was and the mechanics of it and what it was carrying. We then went down the river to the tip of Detroit and then back to Port Huron. I am all shopped out! At the Duty Free this morning everything was at par so we paid American prices in Canadian Currency. That way I have more to go back with the next time. Back to work tomorrow after being off since August 25 and I have to say I am not looking forward to it.

Have a great evening everyone.
