Thanks, Becky! I did some research, and from what I can find on the 'net, they are Durantha (sometimes incorrectly spelled "Duranta"). If anyone knows differently, PLEASE jump in and let me know! LOL
Here are some pics...I should be doing housework, but I couldn't resist. It's a beautiful day, although hot already, and the morning sun is perfect for pics.

A closeup of the Durantha. I love the white edges; it looks like lace. You can see where it's even getting ready for new growth! My "black" thumb might be turning from black to green after all! LOL

The Durantha and fuschia-colored Pentas in the same pot. They are both growing already, and I just planted them a week ago. *knock wood*

Red Pentas (and Nolan's boot tip) on the front porch. These guys barely had any color on them when I planted them, so I'm really excited about their growth.

One of my potted Hydrangeas, with two blooms on it! I added some fertilizer to make the colors a bit deeper, but I think I need some aluminum. That's what my mom said, and SHE has the greenest thumb of anyone I know (except some members here, who I suspect could raise plants from the dead!). This hydrangea, and it's buddy, who's on the other side of the back door, was planted where they got too much sun, and looked terrible when we potted them. They're now dark green and lush, and I can't wait to see how they do.

After last summer's success and starting off well this summer, it's so easy to see how you guys think that gardening is addictive. I think that before, when everything I touched just died, I just wasn't doing enough research or enough work with them. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and your time; it really means a lot to me. And my yard! LOL
