Well, I'm back. Just like my job, part-time is the best I can do.
I'll admit I get on facebook nearly every morning. That's where I can post to most of my friends & family at the same time, without spending too much time on the computer.
I have a dozen things nagging at me for attention every day, even more so when I'm off on the weekends, so I find it difficult to sit still at my desk for any length of time.
Highest on my list is my brother, in a nursing home since last year. He underwent yet another surgery, this last one for colon cancer.

At his follow-up appointment the doctor told him they were able to remove it all.
Now he has 4 more appointments with his oncologist, on April 4th, 5th, 6th, and 12th. He doesn't know why....and his wife has shut out the rest of the family, doesn't tell us anything - even changed her phone number! I'm baffled by her behavior, but she can't stop me from visiting him. I make it a point to go every Friday, and often I'll drive out again on Monday or Tuesday. It's sad that he's spending his life in bed or in a wheelchair, with no visitors until she decides to go on weekends.
I have so many unfinished projects around here, I don't know if I'll ever get around to finish them all.
I started some seeds in the basement, under florescent lights, but now it's getting cold again. Yesterday was nearly 80º, but now it is a rainy 46º- and will drop back into the 30's overnight.
Then of course, I have to go to work. Those 3 days a week really put a crimp in my lifestyle, LOL.
But I do like getting that paycheck each week.
I notice how quiet it has been here, and I feel terribly guilty about my part in that.
I just hope the others that have been missing are well, just busy like myself.
